My contributions

In more than 15 years of LaTeX usage, some experience with TeX/LaTeX macro programming has emerged, resulting in a bunch of internal hacks and ad-hoc solutions, in many cases only poorly documented (and thus hardly comprehensible after some time has passed).
However, up to now, two packages have been made available to the public:

chroma: a reference book of LaTeX colors
xcolor: Driver-independent color extensions for LaTeX and pdfLaTeX

Since it takes an awful lot of time to document macros and make everything logical and user-friendly, it is not predictable when further packages will make their way to the public.
